🛡️ Safety, Safeguarding & Supervision

Are your coaches qualified and DBS checked?
Yes. All Peak Performance Sports coaches are experienced, professional, and fully DBS checked. Our team complete the NSPCC Safeguarding in Sport Course and are either Advanced Paediatric First Aid Trained or FA First Aid Qualified and are carefully selected for their ability to work confidently and positively with children.

What happens if my child is injured or there’s an accident?
We have a robust First Aid Policy in place. Each venue has at least one dedicated Advanced Paediatric First Aider. Minor injuries are treated immediately, and in the event of a more serious accident, parents or guardians are contacted immediately.
All incidents are documented in our First Aid log.

All activities are risk-assessed and delivered by qualified, experienced coaches to prioritise your child’s safety.

Do you have safeguarding, risk assessment policies?
Yes. Child safety is our highest priority.
We operate under robust safeguarding, behaviour management, uncollected, first aid and risk assessment policies, all visible on our 2026 Policies & Procedures dedicated page.

Staff are all Enhanced DBS Checked, Advanced Paediatric Trained or FA First Aid Trained and all attend the NSPCC Safeguarding In Sport Training or FA Safeguarding Course.

We have a robust behaviour policy in place that all staff are introduced to during their induction.

What is your coach-to-child ratio?
We operate safe and appropriate coach-to-child ratios at all times to ensure children are well supervised, supported, and engaged throughout the day. Children are grouped by their age and ability.

If your child is attending with a friend, they will usually be able to stay together throughout the day. Group requests can be made at the time of booking or by speaking to a staff member on arrival.
